Anam bin Awang (47), Malaysian, is an entrepreneur with almost 22 years experience in oil and gas industries. He has been with Retail Business, Commercial Business and Project Management within the PETRONAS group of companies.
His career started in PETRONAS Corporate Affairs Division and wa s the pioneer member of Project Management Team which was in-charged of developing PETRONAS Petroleum Discovery Centre and PETRONAS Philharmonik Orchestra Hall, KLCC. He was also the Head of Operation for Retail Business Department, PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad, responsible for over 800 "full-fledged" petrol stations and over 500 "unbranded" mini-stations throughout Malaysia.
Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics in 1991 from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, he is currently the Executive Director of IPTB Bersatu Sdn. Bhd. (IPTB), a licensed petrol distributor for Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak for BURAQOIL brand and the Executive Director for New Team Equity Sdn. Bhd., a licensed holder to supply petroleum products to Sabah State Government Agency.
