AVL ATLANTA - Key Persons

Bob Ditzler has been in the media production industry since the ‘70s, on one side of the audio board or the other. A native of Youngstown, Ohio, Bob began working at a local recording studio, Peppermint Productions, at the age of 16. A few years later, he opened his own sound company, servicing customers in the Youngstown area. In 1980, Bob moved to Atlanta, GA, and worked for major sound and video contractors as a sales engineer. Over the years, he worked with major houses of worship, corporate and educational accounts with sound, TV/theatrical lighting, video acquisition and control systems. In addition, Bob was very involved with large stage and TV productions acting as any of the following: lighting director, TV and house audio, as well as video engineer. These opportunities allowed him to understand the importance of well-designed spaces that are performance-flexible and technically advanced. There were very few companies that had this understanding, so he started Technical Solutions of GA, now AVL Atlanta.
