is partner in Brown & Norton, LLC. Bridget has dedicated her practice to advocating for clients in separation, divorce and child custody actions as well as post-divorce contempt and modification proceedings.
Bridget's experience includes representing clients in highly sensitive and complex matters which include equitable division of assets and debts, alimony, complex business valuation and income determination, child custody, child support and premarital agreements. Bridget also has training and experience in collaborative law.
Bridget began her family law career in Atlanta, Georgia where she was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and practiced with Bovis, Kyle, Burch & Medlin, LLC. She continued her family law practice when her family moved to Little Rock, Arkansas where she was admitted to the Arkansas State Bar and practiced with Dover, Dixon Horne PLLC.
Bridget and her family established their home in Beaufort, South Carolina in 2017 where she was admitted to the South Carolina Bar and began her practice with Grady. Bridget has also been admitted to practice before the United States District Court and the Georgia Supreme Court. Bridget served on the Judicial Qualifications Committee and currently serves as an officer of the Beaufort County Bar Association.
Bridget graduated from The University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She earned her Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Civil Law, cum laude, from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2010. While in law school, Bridget was a Faculty Merit Scholar and named to the Chancellor's List. She also served as an officer for the Trial Advocacy Board and Moot Court Board during her tenure. In addition, Bridget excelled in multiple trial and appellate advocacy competitions earning her regional and national awards.
Bridget currently resides in Beaufort, South Carolina with her husband Julien, a physician with Charleston ENT and Allergy, and their two children. Outside of the office, Bridget is active in her community and enjoys spending time with her family, being on the water, playing tennis and cheering on her UGA Bulldogs and LSU Tigers.
