Bernd Karlsboeck is an innovator, designer, and researcher with experience in consumer tech, health tech, and food tech as well as industry 4.0, additive manufacturing, circular economy, and human-AI interaction. As the former head of HP's industrial design department, Bernd managed the design vision for the awarded 3D print and 2D large format print product portfolio. He later co-created the internal HP advanced design & future projects lab where he generated several patented innovations. He gives lectures on innovation management and entrepreneurship at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, and guest lectured at the renowned Umea Institute of Design as well as other universities and innovation hubs in Europe and Asia.
