Caliber products limited came about following a tragic accident that occurred in west Auckland October 2009 in which a member of the public lost their life as a result of an uncovered manhole caused by surcharge. By the end of October 2009, we were able to offer the local councils a simple solution to minimize the risk of accident entry into a manhole when the cover was displaced. We approached the various councils that were in existence in Auckland at that time and some took the opportunity to safe guard the infrastructure
