CARSON'S FARM AND GARDEN

Born in Williston, SC - Mark and Mike Carson, co-owners, spent a lot of their childhood in St. Matthews since their parents were born and raised here. When the chance to move back to their "roots" and start a business came about - the two brothers did not hesitate. So on July 1, 1987, Carson's Farm and Garden opened their doors at the old Banks Fertilizer and Ice House on Huff Drive. The business quickly outgrew that location and in December 1994 the brothers moved their business to the current location on Colonel Thomson Hwy (601 North). Also on the current property is 601 Self Storage Rental Facility . The latest addition to the business opened in 2011 a bulk mulch, rock, sand and topsoil yard.
