A. Mari Miller - Chief Compliance Officer

Mari Miller is the Chief Compliance Officer and has been providing personal investment advisory and wealth management services to CPI clients since 1994. She is also an estate planning attorney and founded her own estate planning practice in 1995. Mari is a graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of Law, where her studies emphasized Estate Planning. She also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from California State University, East Bay. She is a Notary Public for the State of California. Mari is also a member of the Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law section of the State Bar of California, the Contra Costa Bar Association, and Tri-Valley Estate Planning Association. On her free time, Mari enjoys cooking, hiking, the beach, wine tasting, volunteering for her sons' Local Cub Scout pack, and spending time with her family. As managing partners, Mari and Angie are committed to carrying on our founder's mission and legacy.

Angie Kangas

Angie Kangas has been committed to putting clients' interests first since she joined the firm in 1995. Angie earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a minor in Economics from California State University, East Bay. She is also a Notary Public for the State of California and a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). On her free time, Angie enjoys day trips to the beach or the wine country with her husband and two daughters. Outside of the office, you can find Angie serving in the Children's Ministries at her home church, volunteering at her children's school, or acting as Treasurer of her daughter's Girl Scouts troop.

Ramon "Ray" Miller

Ramon "Ray" Miller was a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional and served as a trusted advisor from 1985 until his passing in 2014. Ray loved helping people and touched many lives, both personally and professionally. He will always be remembered for his smile, his low key style, and his great taste in wine. Over the last 20 years, Mari and Angie played an integral part in building the company's success and are honored to carry on the legacy.
