This multi-generation collaboration has a long history in the Silbaugh family. Dale's grandfather Robert W. Silbaugh started selling Electrolux Vacuums door-to-door in the rurals of Kentucky. Some of the models he sold are currently displayed at the CleanCity Vacuum Museum at our store in Everett... Dale's father continued the cleaning tradition starting in 1952 in West Covina, California. Moving his family north to Seattle in the early 1960's Robert renamed his business Kleenco. The business grew to employ over 50 janitors that cleaned warehouses, factories and offices of many well known Seattle companies such as Washington Natural Gas, Sealand Services, Safeway Distribution, Pacific Coca Cola Bottling Company, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research and numerous other small to medium sized businesses.
