David Makara

Dave is a partner of Davis Bucco Makara & Dorsey, having joined the firm in 2006. Dave has practiced in Pennsylvania since 1996, primarily representing clients in business litigation. Dave has litigated and arbitrated hundreds of cases to verdict in Pennsylvania and has argued numerous cases before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania supreme court. Specifically, Dave argued two cases before the Supreme Court, involving interpretation of the Pennsylvania Mechanics Lien Law. Prior to joining the firm, Dave worked with a general practice firm in Luzerne County, PA where, in addition to handling commercial litigation matters, he represented parties in all types of civil litigation. Dave thereafter worked with a large Philadelphia defense firm, where he practiced in the Architects, Engineers and Contractors Liability Department.

John Dorsey

John comes to Davis Bucco after previously serving as in-house counsel at the Keating Building Company and the Tutor Perini Corporation where he managed over $1 billion in subcontractor procurement as well as owner-contractor agreement negotiations, public procurement, litigation and corporate

LINDSAY D. LIEBMAN

Lindsay graduated from Temple University Beasley School of Law where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society as well as a Staff Editor of the Temple Journal of Science, Technology and Environmental Law. Lindsay's more than 20-year litigation career has primarily focused on representing commercial clients including owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and engineers in construction accident claims. She has also represented commercial clients including large motor vehicle manufacturers, suppliers, dealers and financial institutions in consumer protection claims brought under the Unfair Trade Practices Act and other state and federal statutes. Lindsay is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania state and federal court. Lindsay is a dedicated volunteer for the Support Center for Child Advocates, where she provides pro-bono legal representation to children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Lindsay is also a volunteer for the Media Youth Center, a non-profit organization that offers sports and technical programs, as well as a safe community friendly environment for youth in and around the Media, Pennsylvania area. Lindsay grew up in Central Pennsylvania and currently lives with her husband and three children in Media, Pennsylvania.

PATRICK BLAIR

Patrick graduated from Temple University Beasley School of Law. He served as a Staff Editor of the Temple Journal of Science, Technology, and Environmental Law. He received Temple's First-Year Scholar Award and worked as a mentor for incoming law students through Temple's Academic Core Enrichment Program After graduating from Temple, Patrick was hired by the National Park Service, where he advised on issues related to the development and construction of buildings and infrastructure within the national parks. Following NPS, Patrick became a civil trial attorney, representing clients in a wide variety of matters, including personal injury, immigration, trust and estates, products liability, and workers compensation. Patrick currently focuses his practice on commercial litigation, commercial real estate, and construction law. Patrick grew up in the Philadelphia area and currently lives in Delaware County with his wife and two children.

Paul Bucco - CEO

Paul is a founding partner of Davis Bucco. With more than 30 years of experience as a civil lawyer, Paul has focused his expertise on construction, labor law and general commercial litigation. He has represented all construction industry participants, including owners, general contractors, subcontractors, material and equipment suppliers, architects, engineers and sureties. Paul has substantial experience in the construction and commercial arbitration process as an attorney, arbitrator and mediator. During his 30 years of practice, Paul has extensive labor relations experience representing management in both non-union and union workplace environments. He has been a Master in the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County for municipal construction industry matters. Paul has served as a solicitor to the Associated Builders and Contractors, Pennsylvania Concrete Masonry Association, Office of Housing and Community Development Delaware County (commercial and residential divisions), Resilient Flooring Association and Concrete Cutting Association. Paul is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Association, Delaware County Bar Association Eastern PA Chapter and the Montgomery County Bar Association.
