Welcome to my website. I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and EMDR Consultant with over 30 years clinical experience in private practice working with a broad range of emotional difficulties. I also supervise other therapists both in private practice and in the NHS. I specialize in working with trauma, whether sustained in a single incident like a traffic accident ,prolonged danger as in combat, repeated shocking experiences in first line services or the result of neglect rejection or abuse in childhood. Adverse childhood experiences (ACE's) have a long-lasting effect and damage physical and psychological health in many ways that may not be obvious but underly many later life difficulties, especially repeating problems with relationships.
