EL RITO LIBRARY

After much behind the scenes work to complete a recent grant with the Northern New Mexico National Heritage Area, the El Rito Library has created three new exhibit banner stands which we'll soon be transporting to schools and community meetings to talk about our community's fascinating natural and cultural history... ​Our public library is a non-profit 501(c)3. We serve to enlighten, empower and bring enjoyment to this community. Individual donors, much appreciated grants, and the hard work of our board of directors, staff and volunteers keep us operating... We're starting a new service for our community with outreach visits at the library by the Espanola-based organization Inside Out. They'll help people find needed health, mental health, housing, economic resources, assist with NARCAN training, offer peer support group and individual confidential meetings, food box distributions. It's all free, no appointment necessary.
