FRC

Students in The Franklin College of Arts and Sciences may apply for a space at the FRC, the oldest residential college at UGA, during the spring semester of every year. The FRC is open to any student majoring or minoring in a Franklin College of Arts and Sciences program, although preference will be given to students with a major in Franklin College. Members are admitted by the FRC Assistant Director in Residence, Director, and the Director's Assistants on the basis of their interest in and commitment to participating in the community of a residential college. They enjoy its character, as well as its robust intellectual, cultural, and social life with the presence of the Academic Advisor in Residence and the FRC Director... Housed in newly renovated Rutherford Hall, the Franklin Residential College or the "FRC" is UGA's first residential community.
