We are always trying to improve our horsemanship knowledge and skills, and we have been really enjoying learning from our mentor and good friend Steve Burke who is based in Perth, Western Australia, but travels to us for clinics a few times a year. Steve offers a wealth of knowledge and experience, his teachings combine the principles of horsemanship taught by Tom and Bill Dorrance and Ray Hunt, with the teachings of the Classical Dressage Masters. He also brings a lifetime of practical experience from his work in the top end of Australia on cattle stations, where he has worked extensively over the years in a hands on roll as well as his current work where he conducts horsemanship clinics and schools as well as colt starting schools on these stations sharing his skills and knowledge for producing confident willing horses who are ready to do a job and do it well!...
