MARK KING - Key Persons

Dr. King was raised in western Kentucky. He received his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky University in Biology and Chemistry. He graduated from the University Of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2009. Afterwards, he completed three additional years of training as part of a residency in Periodontics and implantology from UK. His experience working as a general dentist in Bourbon County for three years aids in giving patients restoratively minded periodontal treatment to ensure the best possible treatment is performed.

Dr. Ritchey grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a lifelong Kentucky Wildcats fan, he was thrilled to attend the University of Kentucky where he received his Bachelor's degree in Biology. He went on to attend the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where he graduated with Distinction in the Class of 2019. After a year spent working as a general dentist, he decided to further his education at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where he completed a three-year Periodontics residency. During his training, Dr. Ritchey received extensive experience in dental implant placement, soft tissue grafting, bone grafting/site development for implant placement, as well as advanced techniques used in the treatment of periodontal disease. Dr. Ritchey takes pride in getting to know his patients and developing personalized treatment plans to fit their individual needs and goals. He is licensed to provide IV moderate sedation during procedures to maximize comfort and alleviate dental anxiety.
