Dr. Caroline MacCallum

Dr. MacCallum completed her undergraduate degree in pharmacy and medicine at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, where she was born and raised. She graduated from the University of British Columbia Internal Medicine Residency Program in 2013. Upon graduation, Dr. MacCallum practiced Pain & Addiction Medicine at Vancouver General Hospital and the Heartwood Addiction Program at BC Women's Hospital. In addition, she also practiced complex pain medicine at the CHANGEpain Clinic and BC Women's Complex Chronic Disease Program. Currently, she is a clinical instructor in the Department of Medicine at UBC where she provides inpatient care on the Internal Medicine Ward at UBC Hospital and Bone Marrow Transplant Ward at VGH. She is also a guest lecturer and preceptor for the UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Program. She is also the Medical Director at Greenleaf Medical Clinic; a cannabis clinic in Langley, British Columbia which assesses patients' suitability for therapy with legal, Health Canada approved medical cannabis. Greenleaf also offers group medical visits to provide patients with additional tools to manage their complex pain including; pain neurosciences, therapeutic movement, meditation, sleep, nutrition, and medicinal cannabis groups. Dr. MacCallum has a passion for cannabis education and has done a number of CME presentations and preceptorships for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other allied health care professionals. Her research interest includes cannabis as a multimodal therapeutic for the treatment of concurrent medical conditions and symptom clusters (pain, mood, anxiety, insomnia); safe use of medical cannabis to improved function and quality of life; cannabis to help taper prescription medications (opioids, benzodiazepines etc.) to reduce overall polypharmacy burden; cannabis product safety (standardization, testing, and contaminants), cannabis and public health and safety including cannabis impairment and cannabis use in the workplace.

Dr. Celeste Collins

Dr. Collins graduated with a medical degree in South Africa in 1984. After emigrating to Canada in 1998 with her husband, also a physician, She worked in various settings providing full-service family medicine from 2006- 2016. Since 2016 she has worked full-time in cannabinoid medicine. Her interest in pain management, geriatrics and hospital medicine provided a good background for prescribing medicinal cannabis.

Dr. Erin Nichol

Dr. Nichol graduated from the University of British Columbia's medical school in 2003 and completed her residency in Medicine Hat (University of Calgary's rural program). She practiced in rural BC for several years before settling into full-service family practice in Vancouver, where she has been a clinical instructor in the UBC Faculty of Nursing's nurse practitioner program for many years. In addition to cannabinoid medicine, Dr. Nichol has a special interest in addictions medicine, and also works at the Portland Hotel Society in the DTES of Vancouver.

Dr. Teresa Clarke

Dr. Clarke graduated from the UBC, receiving her B.Sc. in Biochemistry in 1977 and her MD in 1981. She was a family physician before training in acupuncture which inspired a career change that led to integrative medicine. She was certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada in 1995 and the Canadian Society of Clinical Hypnosis in 1998. Her career journey included: acupuncture private practice, consulting physician in a multidisciplinary pain rehabilitation program, and facilitator of fibromyalgia group programs at the Arthritis Society in Langley. She authored the program manual, "Fibromyalgia 12 Week Recovery Program" and produced the guided imagery companion CD's. She is currently a physician at the Complex Chronic Diseases Program at BC Women's Hospital and at the Greenleaf Medical Clinic where she teaches online workshops on acupressure for chronic illnesses and integrative approaches to optimize immune health.

Fabio Bocchetti

Fabio Bocchetti graduated from a 4.5-year program in Physiotherapy in his hometown, Rio de Janeiro in 2004. After that, he took a 2.5-year postgraduate in Acupuncture, and finally a 5-year postgraduate in Osteopathy. He worked for several years in his private office and taught manual therapy in many cities across Brazil. Fabio works in BC as a Manual Osteopath since 2017 and became a Board Director of the BCAOMP in 2018.

Jagpaul Kaur Deol graduated from UBC and practices as a Clinical Pharmacist in both primary care and private practice. She is an accredited HIV Pharmacist with additional specializations in Travel Consults + Tropical Diseases and Skin Care Formulation (pharmaceutical grade and plant-based). In addition to her clinical pharmacy expertise, she has pursued special interests and studies in nutrition (both dietary interventions and nutrient optimization), herbalism, metabolic dysfunction and Ayurvedic Practice. She incorporates these skills and practices into her patient consults, medication assessments and recommendations to improve health outcomes.

Tanya Adams

With extensive experience as a patient care coordinator and over five years as a cannabis educator and dosing expert, Ms. Adams' primary focus is on creating exceptional client outcomes. She collaborates with industry leaders to ensure the voice of patients and adult consumers is being heard with respect to routes of administration, product selection and ongoing supply. She also educates health care professionals on the safe use of cannabis. Ms. Adams' passion is working with medical patients and adult consumers alike. Through her knowledge of routes of administration, product selection and supply, she develops customized cannabis dosing plans that are driven by her clients' needs.
