Cindy Marston was raised in a Christian home in the San Gabriel Valley, the middle of three children. She grew up attending church and was active in many kids and youth ministries. It was in her 6th grade Sunday School class that she met her now husband, Brian. They were best friends all through middle and high school and drew closer in their early college years at CSUN. Married in 1995, they have three children.
Cindy did not love science or math in high school but came to love it in community college and then at CSUN. Her academic life revolved around ecology field trips, lab animals and insects, and her favorite, the microbiology lab where she worked to pay her way through school. She graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Environmental Biology. After that, she continued her CSUN journey where she received her biological sciences teaching credential.
Cindy's first teaching experience was at a local valley high school for LAUSD, teaching various levels of biology, integrated science, health, and algebra 1. This was a dream job full of learning, hard challenges, and amazing students. Choosing to leave there to spend more time with her growing family, she found a job at a K-12 grade charter independent study/homeschool program where she worked for 19 years as an Education Facilitator. God used this long-term job covering all areas within education to challenge and prepare her for the next step.
Sensing God's calling for a change, Cindy arrived at Heritage Christian School in 2021 to serve as the Middle School Principal. She loves her students, the staff, the administration, and everything about Heritage! This is an amazing place to work, and she views this as the educational ministry God has prepared and called her to serve in.

Jeremy Hoff is the baby of four children, raised in Lancaster, CA. He had the benefit of a high school science-teaching father and a high school English literature-teaching mother. Jeremy's college career took him to Cal State Northridge, where he completed a Bachelor's of Science in Environmental and Occupational Health.
Along the way, he waited tables at a nearby restaurant and was invited to Hillcrest Christian Church by a pretty coworker. It was there that Pastor Bruce Cramer took Jeremy under his wing and poured into him… and after making a decision to follow Christ, Jeremy asked that pretty girl - Lesley - to be his wife. Together, they have balanced ministry, life, and work while raising four children.
Not long after their vows, Jeremy joined Lesley on staff at Shepherd of the Hills Church - now Shepherd Church. While on staff, Jeremy loved using technology to innovate and amplify the great ministry that was already happening at Shepherd. He attended Bible School, earning his M.A. of Organizational Leadership from Hope International University, and was tasked with Pastoral duties.
His role at Shepherd evolved to become Executive Director of Administration as part of the leadership team, and served the many support ministries: the online campus, audio, video, lighting, broadcast, finance, information systems, communications, facilities, stewardship, and was part of the hiring team. Additionally, Jeremy was afforded the great blessing of travelling on mission trips to more than a dozen countries throughour Europe, MENA, and South Africa.
