He has more than fourteen years (14) of teaching and administrative experience from various Engineering and Technical colleges in India and abroad. He has numerous publications in well-ranked international research journals and conferences in the field of Data Communications and Networks as well as in Information Security. Dr. Abubucker S. Shaffi

Dr. Abubucker S. Shaffi received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Madras in 2022, a Master's of Philosophy in Computer Science from Periyar University in 2007, and a Master's degree in Computer Application from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in 1999. He has more than twenty years of teaching and administrative experience in academia and has held various positions. Before joining Gulf College in 2007, he worked as a Lecturer in India and the Kingdom of Bahrain. He taught extensively at undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes in India. Currently, he is the Acting Head of the Faculty of Computing Sciences at Gulf Colleges and is also teaching level 5 students Systems Analysis and Design. He is also the Dissertation Project Supervisor for Level 6 Students. He is a certified internal auditor for ISO 9001:2008 and an active researcher who has published research papers in international journals. His research interests include computer networks and software engineering.

Dr. Khalid Abu Zayed

Dr. Khalid Ahmed Abu Zayed is a devoted academician with more than 17 years of experience in the field of education. He has been serving the College as the Head of the Faculty of Business and Management Studies since 2012. He heads the largest faculty in the College. He works collaboratively with lecturers, Programme Leaders, and other academic and non-academic staff members within the college for the smooth functioning of the faculty. He is committed to providing the highest quality of teaching and learning environment to the students of his faculty. As a member of the College's Academic Board, he ensures his faculty is well-represented, provided with the required resources and support, and seamlessly aligned with the College's strategic objectives. Dr. Khalid joined Gulf College in the year 2005 as a Lecturer. Before joining Gulf College, he worked as a teaching faculty in Al Marqab University in Libya. Owning his commitment to the college and enthusiasm to educating students, he was promoted to an Award Leader in 2008, in which he worked as a lecturer in addition to serving the administrative tasks for the Faculty of Business and Management Studies. With more than 5 years in this position, he garners expertise, confidence, and commitment towards the college's prime stakeholders, their students, and exhibited leadership skills, which enabled him to reach to the next higher position as the Head of Faculty in which he serves till date. Dr. Khalid obtained his bachelor's from the University of Pune. He then completed his master's in Banking and Business Finance from the University of Baroda and finally did his Doctorate in the field of Banking from the University of Rajasthan in India. His research interests are in the field of global corporate finance, financial markets, and financial services.

Dr. Rosanna is an English lecturer and currently teaching English modules at the Centre for Foundation Studies. She is a dedicated educator with 22 years of teaching experience. She is recognised for innovation in program development, instruction, and administration to meet the needs of a broad range of students. She obtained her bachelor's degree in 1997 and started teaching in a secondary school in Manila. Likewise, she completed her Master of Arts in Language Teaching in 2005 and then gained her Doctorate in Educational Management in 2013 at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. She taught Literature and English courses in different universities in Manila. She is considered an effective communicator and student advisor advocate. He previously worked as an Assistant Dean for Postgraduate Studies & Research, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), Muscat, Oman. Ali has more than 27 years of practical and academic experience in IS/IT field. Immediately after obtaining his B.Sc. in Computer Science from Reading University, the UK, in 1991, he worked in the Center for Information Systems, SQU, where he gained most of his practical experience. Ali joined the academia in 1999 and completed his Ph.D. in the UK in 2005. From September 2007 to March 2011 Ali held the CIS Director's position, sharing his time between managing the Center and performing his academic duties. From September 2012 to September 2015, he was the Head of Department of Information Systems, College of Economics and Political Science, SQU, Oman. Furthermore, Ali contributed to 15 different IT-focused committees both at the university and national levels. He is an active researcher, having a good record of publication (citations: 1423; h-index: 18; i10-index: 25), published more than one hundred twenty international conference/journal papers, chapters in a book or report. His work has been cited in ISI, DBPLP, Scopus, ACM, IEEE, Google Scholar, and other databases. He regularly reviews papers for international journals and conferences. In addition to publishing single or co-authored papers, Dr. Ali is also well-known for his patience and commitment to helping and empowering students in sharpening their research skills. He received some awards/recognitions, including the "Excellence in Research Award" from Clute Institute, Colorado (a USA- based institute) for his exceptional research efforts in 2016. In recognition of the contribution made to the quality of the ‘Computers in Human Behavior journal', in November 2016, he was awarded a "Certificate of Outstanding Contribution in Reviewing", Awarded the "Best Researcher Award" from Sultan Qaboos University, 2014. One of his papers received the "Best Paper Award" at the 2013 Paris International Academic Conference, Paris, France, June 9-11, 2013. Other indicators for his scholarly activities are his records on Google Scholar, and several times, he has received "the most read author from your department" recognition on ResearchGate. Also, he has supervised undergraduate senior projects, co-supervised master's theses in computing Sciences while doing his sabbatical in the UK, and is currently supervising M.Sc. in Information Systems theses. He has also (co)supervised some postgraduate students at local, regional, and international universities. Dr. Ali Al-Badi received some internal, MoHERI, and HMTF strategic grants worth a total of 142,393 OMR. He is on the editorial board of some international journals and reviewers for international journals. He also chaired local and international conferences/workshops and was invited as a Keynote speaker at five different conferences/Research Days.

Rizwan Ahmad

Rizwan Ahmad has significant experience in the field of higher education. He has been extensively involved in the development and management of programmes, international validations, programme delivery, developent of teaching and learning materials, management of assessments, students' experience, accreditation/recognition of prior learning, students' admissions, managing exam boards and international partnerships. Over a period of two decades, he has major contribution in the development and management of both undergrduate and postgraduate programmes and has worked consistently with Staffordshire University and Cardiff Metropolitan University. He has worked closely with the industry on needs analysis and training and higher education of their employees. Also, he has significant experience in managing vocational and professional programmes having worked with leading U.K. awarding bodies.
