In the beginning the company engaged in various industrial and medical applications while today HF radar systems are the main product. The first commercial ocean radar WERA was produced in 2000 and due to the reliable high-quality of its output data, WERA enjoys a unique reputation as a leading remote ocean sensing system with more than 150 HELZEL radar systems installed world-wide... Helzel Messtechnik GmbH founded in 1995, specialises in the development and production of environmental and oceanographic measurement systems... Helzel Messtechnik provides all services and training to configure the HF radar systems and software according to the operational requirements.
