HIGHLAND ACADEMY

Highland Academy is an independent school in Absecon, NJ that enrolls children in preschool through 8th grade. The Academy has been operating since 2001. Highland Academy serves a diverse student body, within peer diverse classrooms, with low teacher to student ratios. The Academy utilizes project-based instruction and students tackle a challenging curriculum in ways that are engaging, meaningful and adaptable to a variety of learning styles. NJ core standards are used as a guideline and complemented with a focus on Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences and William Glasser's Theory of Choice Theory...
