Adrianne Miller

Dr. Miller, Audiologist, was born and raised in West Texas. She graduated with her Doctor of Audiology degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2004. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Texas in 2000. Dr. Miller is a member of the Texas Academy of Audiology. She holds the national certification, the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and is state board licensed. Her areas of interest are tinnitus evaluations and management, assessment and treatment of hearing loss with hearing technology, and program management and development. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, raising chickens and traveling. She says, "My love of Audiology was discovered in 1998. Hearing healthcare is a pioneering field and the advancement of it has been an exciting journey. Being at WTRC allows me to meet the needs of our patients."

Ali Bailey

Dr. Bailey attained her undergraduate and doctoral degrees from the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Bailey has been evaluating and treating pediatric through geriatric patients since 2011 and she is passionate about the bond she is able to form with her patients and their families. From the time of the initial hearing assessment to the hearing aid fitting and follow-up care, making a special connection with her patients is what makes her job such a joy! She works with multiple hearing aid manufacturers to ensure her patient's needs are met by the most current technology, performs extensive pediatric assessment, auditory processing assessment, electrophysiologic testing as well as tinnitus assessment. She is state board licensed in Texas, a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of Texas Academy of Audiology, and nationally certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology). As an Abilene native, Dr. Bailey and her husband and son love spending time with friends and family and feel blessed to be a part of the West Texas Rehab family.

Angela Middlebrooks

Dr. Middlebrooks, Audiologist, received her Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. Dr. Middlebrooks holds the national certification, the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and is state board licensed. Her areas of interest include pediatric and adult assessment and treatment, educational audiology, and hearing implants. She says, "Being a part of this Audiology team has allowed me to use my passion and creativity to help improve the life of anyone who walks through our door." Dr. Middlebrooks enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and enjoying nature.

Carri Ray

Dr. Ray attained her undergraduate degree from Baylor University in Waco, her Master of Science in Audiology from Galludet University in Washington, D.C., and her doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Stills University of Health Sciences in Arizona. Dr. Ray works with patients of all ages and is Board Certified in Audiology by the American Academy of Audiology. She is state board licensed and is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology). Her special interests include hearing assessment and hearing aid fittings. Dr. Ray's husband, Darrin, is the Associate Pastor of Senior Adults at Wylie Baptist Church. They have a precious daughter who will be headed to college soon. Their empty nest will stay full with a dog, a new cat, and a fish. When Dr. Ray is not working to help others attain better hearing, she can be found knitting. And, yes, she really did knit those socks she is wearing!

Chad Hirt

Chad Hirt grew up on a small West Texas cotton farm in St. Lawrence, Texas, just outside of Garden City. He studied biology and chemistry and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Texas Tech University in 2002. For the last decade and a half, he has worked in a fast-paced sales environment for a software company based out of San Angelo, Texas. He managed client relationships in both the private and public sectors on an enterprise level across the country. During this time, he played an active role in community outreach efforts such as the United Way and Relay for Life that have had a significant impact on citizens in need in the Concho Valley. He is currently an active contributor and mentor to youth activities and programs sponsored by the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Association. Passionate about relationship building, his community and the desire to make a difference in the lives of people in his community and surrounding areas, the move to West Texas Rehabilitation Center to join the Foundation Team was a natural fit. Chad will help manage, plan and advise on the many charitable options available to Rehab donors. He brings an extensive background in understanding the complexity in planning and the thought and consideration that must be considered when it comes to charitable donation. Chad will work with each donor and potential donor to ensure their contributions are long lasting and truly impact the core mission of West Texas Rehabilitation Center which is to improve the quality of life to those served regardless of their financial circumstance. In his free time, Chad enjoys chasing his children from the football field to the tennis courts to the basketball gym and baseball fields. Chad is married to Robin, who is a school teacher in Wall, Texas, and has two children, Bryson (12) and Kymbree (9).

Christianne Robertson

From the time she was a young girl, Dr. Robertson knew that she wanted to help patients with hearing problems. She even attended a "Medical High School" so began her medical journey as quickly as she could! From there she attended Texas Woman's University (TWU) where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Communicaation Sciences and Disorders. After TWU, she moved to Lubbock and attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center to obtain her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) Dr. Robertson is state board licensed and nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In addition to specializing in adult and pediatric hearing aid fittings, she also specializes in cochlear implants, tinnitus management, and electrophysiologic assessment. New to Abilene (but not new to Texas) she and her family have many hobbies and are looking forward to participating in West Texas Rehab's Top Gun Clay Shoot!

Chuck Rodgers

Chuck was raised in Lubbock, Texas and attended Texas Tech University where he received his BBA in Finance. He came on the Young Life staff in 1986 and started the YL ministry in Killeen, TX, serving there for 3 years. In 1989 he and his wife, Cindy, moved to Abilene where they worked with kids through Young Life for 28 years. He came to work for West Texas Rehab in 2018. Chuck and Cindy had been married for 30 years before her death in April of 2017. They have two children: a son, Taylor, is Director of Tennis Operations at Abilene Christian University; and a daughter, Molly, who works as a staff accountant at Ray and Company. Chuck enjoys golf, tennis, pickle-ball, working in the yard, cooking, throwing the frisbee for his dog, Myles, and spending time with his kids.

Connie Stephens

Dr. Stephens graduated with her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in Austin (go Longhorns!), her Master of Science in Audiology from the University of Texas in Dallas, and her doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in Arizona. She has special interests which include pediatric through geriatric hearing assessment and hearing aid fitting, as well as program development and management. She cares tremendously for her patients. Dr. Stephens is an Honorary Lifetime member of the Texas Academy of Audiology, state board licensed, a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology.

Faith Charles

Faith graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and will complete her fourth year graduate internship in May of 2022 to become a Doctor of Audiology through TTUHSC. From her experience with her many family members with hearing loss, Faith has developed a passion for helping individuals achieve their communication goals. She loves the patient-centered philosophy at West Texas Rehab Center which allows its practitioners to partner with patients and their families to find the best solution for their hearing care needs. Her professional interests include seeing both pediatric and adult patients, and outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and her new puppy.

Jason Weaver

Jason Weaver joined the West Texas Rehab family in December 2017. Jason joined the fundraising team for the Foundation to help make sure the Foundation is in an ever-increasing position to support the therapy, hospice, and other programs of the Rehab. "An organization who employs only the most highly-educated and well-trained therapists, nurses and other healthcare professionals--to provide first-class care and support to patients for as long as they need it and without regard to their ability to pay-- is an organization I want to be a part of for a long time," Jason mentioned. Before joining West Texas Rehab, Jason taught high school English and Speech for a few years and worked in development and marketing for a nonprofit organization in the northwest Texas Panhandle for more than 17 years. Jason earned his bachelor's degree in speech from West Texas A&M University and master's degree in business administration from Wayland Baptist University. Jason is married to Mendy, who enjoys a long career in banking, and they have three children, Melanie, a sophomore nursing major at Angelo State University, Katlynn, a 13-year-old 4-H student, and Jackson, a 4-year-old who loves dinosaurs and helicopters.

Laura Rivera

Laura has worked in healthcare for over 10 years. She brings a vast knowledge in customer service and business office expertise. She says, "I am so happy to be part of West Texas Rehab and the Audiology team. Getting our patients to be able to hear again is very rewarding." In her spare time she loves to spend time with family and travel.

Lauren Dabney

Lauren has always enjoyed helping people, which is why she was elated to join the West Texas Rehab Center in 2019. Lauren brought with her a vast range of healthcare and office management expertise. The teamwork at the Rehab Hearing Center makes her job seem like she is working with family. Lauren says, "I am proud to be part of a caring company, and I enjoy getting to see our patients hear again. Our team makes Great Things happen, every day."

Shalyn Bond

Dr. Bond attained her undergraduate and doctoral degrees from Texas Tech University HealthSciences Center in Lubbock, TX. She was born and raised in small town New Mexico, whereshe spent lots of time on the family ranch. Dr. Bond enjoys working with patients of all ages andloves spending time getting to know the individuals and families she works with every day. Herspecial interests include diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings of all manufacturers,electrophysiological testing, and Cochlear Implant mapping and follow up care. She is stateboard licensed in Texas, a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and nationally certifiedby the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (Certificate of Clinical Competencein Audiology). In her free time she enjoys long walks around the neighborhood with her pupAndie and traveling to new places. She and her soon to be husband are avid sports fans andlove going to any sporting events when they get the chance!

Shawna Henderson

Shawna Henderson is from the small town of Junction, Texas. She started her hearing healthcare journey in 2013 and has thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of what the field intels. She is currently CAOHC certified and a Hearing instrument Specialist in training working towards her Texas board certification. Working at WTRC has made so many of her goals attainable with the ability to help such different people in all different walks of life. She is the mother of two beautiful little girls who keep her very busy in her time away from WTRC. During her spare time she enjoys traveling to different golf courses, softball and outdoor activities with her family.

Virginia Nunez

Virginia was born and raised in San Angelo. She came to WTRC with 24 years of patient care experience. She says, "I am fortunate to work alongside an amazing team of professionals here at WTRC that daily deliver high quality and caring patient care." The biggest joy of her life is being Grandma of 3 pretty, cool grandkids. Her hobbies are working-out, Zumba dance, and gardening. She has a passion to support the community by advocating for the spay and neuter of local stray dogs and cats.

Woody Gilliland - President

Woody Gilliland, President of the WTRC Foundation is the former President/CEO of the West Texas Rehabilitation Center where he served from 2000 to 2015. His extensive knowledge of the health care industry and many senior health care issues allows him to help friends of the Rehab who wish to make a permanent difference in the future of the Center through the Foundation.
