Dr. Edzko Smid is the President of iTrack. Dr. Smid has extensive experience in designing and developing software and hardware for robotic vehicle projects for the U.S. military and auto industry. He received his Ph.D. degree in Systems Engineering in April 1999 from Oakland University, Rochester, MI. and a M.S. degree in EE in 1995 from Delft University of Technology, Delft, Netherlands.
Dr. Smid is an expert in embedded microcontroller technology and has successfully demonstrated several projects where sophisticated theories were implemented into stand-alone systems. He currently leads a team of experienced engineers, working on the current QCM sensing technology, wireless precision location and navigation of autonomous robotic vehicles.

Dr. Tom Stiglich is the Vice President of Engineering for iTrack. He received his B.S.E.E. and M.S.E.E. from the University of Michigan - Dearborn in 1989 and 1991, respectively, and a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering in 1999 from Oakland University.
Dr. Stiglich has over 15 years of experience developing real-time embedded controllers for the automotive and transportation industry, and has developed products for Accel, Aux Generators, Collins Commercial Avionics, Cummins (Onan), Dana, Ford, Genie Industries, JLG, Long Manufacturing, Mr. Gasket, Rockwell International, SGS and Tug Technologies.
Dr. Stiglich has previously served as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Michigan - Dearborn, has been a lecturer for the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Oakland University.
Jerry Atkinson As Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer; Jerry is responsible for iTrack's business development activities, implementing the company's product commercialization plans and marketing strategy with major defense contractors, the Department of Defense, Michigan based TACOM/TARDEC, and other non-defense focused commercial companies. He is responsible for the company's ongoing relationships with Senator Levin, Senator Stabenow and other members of the Michigan Congressional delegation and their Washington DC and Michigan staffs. The company's relationships with the State of Michigan, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and local governmental units are also his responsibilities. He is the Project Manager of the company's Army SBIRs and other commercial research projects and responsible for all of the company's interactions with the DCAA and DCMA.
Jerry has 25 years experience in managing various small to medium-size businesses in the service industry, technology development, and real estate management. Prior to joining iTrack, He was a Director for Self-Guided Systems, a Michigan based company that developed a laser-guided navigation system for an autonomous commercial lawnmower. He was the President of Advance Pool Distribution, Inc. from 1980-2001 and was responsible for overall operations, accounting, financial, insurance and all regulatory matters of the company.
Mark Sikorski has worked for over 13 years in industrial production/prototype settings. His 7 years experience with FANUC robotic applications includes programming and maintaining water jet cutting, welding, foam-in-place and material handling systems. His main responsibilities included running large and continuous in-house customer directed production systems as well as smaller automation prove-out production runs.
These production runs required extensive customer face time to achieve stringent requirements. Mark also worked with customers on automation system set-up, operation and equipment maintenance. Certified on the operation of FLOW intensifiers, he conducted training classes on the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of high-pressure water jet cutting systems.
When Mark was not running prototype operations, he spent his time working with customers on sale/service calls to help improve the operation of their existing automation systems as well as defining system requirements for future robotic installations.
