"It is hard to express the "high" I experienced when we visited Uganda in 2007 to dedicate the opening of John Paul Secondary School. This beautiful, new, brightly-painted white and blue building sparkled in the midst of dull colored mud huts with thatch roofs. The contrast could not have been greater. And, the enormity of changing this building into a thriving school delivering quality education to this poverty-stricken area of subsistence farmers seemed no longer daunting . . . but possible!"
