Dr. White graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2020 where she was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the Highest Dental Academic Achievement Award). She also served for four years as a board member of the Student Outreach Clinic, a student-run clinic that provides free dental care to underserved populations of Indiana. Since graduating, Dr. White has completed an advanced general practice residency program at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. There she received specialty training in implants, esthetics and hospital dentistry. Dr. White is passionate about providing top quality care and helping patients maintain a healthy smile. She is a current member of the American Dental Association and the Indiana Dental Association. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and their French bulldog, running, and baking for friends and family.
We want you to be well informed about all aspects of your dental health, so we've invested in an intra-oral video camera. It's just about the size of a pen, and it allows you to see broken fillings, gum problems, and small cracks in teeth-just as we see them. This special camera lets us zoom in on one tooth magnified to 25 times actual size or we can give you a "tour" of the inside of your mouth.
The intra-oral camera can reveal a problem while it is still relatively simple to treat. The full-color images you can view on the computer screen give you the knowledge you need to make informed decisions regarding your dental health.

Hello. My name is Dr. Lauren Griebenow (formerly Groothuis). I joined Dr. Melissa Jarrell's team in Dec 2019. I am a Kokomo native and recently moved back home to be close to family. I graduated from Western High School and married my high school sweetheart and have a home in Russiaville. After graduating at the top of my class in 2018 from Indiana University School of Dentistry, I worked for a year as a general dentist in Wabash. I enjoy preventive dentistry and my philosophy is to use the latest most conservative treatment options, which is a perfect fit for our team. "It is an honor to move home and be able to treat my friends and family. I look forward to meeting my new patients and to continue to provide the excellent care you are accustomed to from Dr. Jarrell."
Dr. Melissa welcomes the opportunity to care for your dental needs and will do everything possible to make your visits pleasant. After graduating fourth in her class at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1996, she distinguished herself by receiving multiple Clinical Achievement Awards from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry.
She was elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the Highest Dental Academic Achievement Award) which includes only the top 5% of dentists in the nation.
Because of her accomplishments in dental school, she was accepted into a highly sought-after hospital residency program where she received post-graduate training at Charity Hospital in New Orleans.
With her passion for restorative and cosmetic dentistry, she utilizes the latest in dental technology to individualize your treatment. Dr. Melissa is actively involved in our community and enjoys giving back to Kokomo through local charities.

Being a mother of three gives Dr. Melissa a compassionate and understanding point-of-view for her patients. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
