- Senior Structural Engineer
Ahmad is a senior structural engineer with over 30 years experience in planning and design, implementation, maintenance and management of concrete and steel structures. Ahmad works closely with our multi-disciplinary team and has managed the successful design, production, coordination and supervision of hundreds of structural buildings worth millions of dollars including buildings for United Nations projects across the world.
Alex has completed a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology as well as a degree in Bachelor of Civil Engineering. He is currently a structural engineer in training.
Alex has worked in the field assisting in contract administration and in quality control of residential developments and road projects. He has also been involved in structural assessments of buildings as well as the design of foundations, wood, steel and concrete structures.
Andrew has over 20 years experience providing energy saving solutions to commercial and institutional clients.
He has a B.Sc. (M.E.) degree and Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) designation from the Association of Energy Engineers. He is licensed in Ontario and Manitoba.
Andrew has extensive experience in design, administration and implementation of large scale ground and water source heat pump systems as well as feasibility studies, desktop reviews, project management and contract administration of energy conservation and efficiency projects.
Dave has a B.Sc. (E.E.) degree and has been working as an Engineer for over 36 years in the power distribution, system performance and system protection fields.
He has gained valuable experience providing technical support to hundreds of utilities across the country. He has authored more than a dozen technical papers on power system protection and holds several patents on system protection technology.
As a new member to the LBE team, Lacey brings with her over 5 years of professional experience from an account manager perspective. Her training, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure have allowed for an easy transition into the new role as office manager.
In addition to maintaining the office efficiency, Lacey provides support to all staff as requested or required. Her effective leadership skills and approachable demeanor supports the performance of the office staff.
Thomas began his career at LBE Group in 2019. With 15 years of experience in the service/hospitality industry, Thomas was ready for a new challenge and whole new industry. Over the recent short time with LBE he has expanded his knowledge in CAD software such as AutoCAD MEP and has earned a certificate from training in Revit.
Thomas continues to strive for excellence in his AutoCAD drawings and is learning, gaining experience/knowledge throughout his time with LBE.
Zac graduated with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology in 2017 and immediately began working in engineering consulting with LBE. He worked on hundreds of engineering projects in the commercial and heavy industrial sectors before returning to school in 2019. Zac graduated with his B.Eng. (M.E.) in 2021.
Zac has experience working in all aspects of mechanical engineering across Northwestern Ontario. This experience includes project management, building systems, machine design, industrial pumping and piping, industrial equipment installation, and contract administration.
