Long Valley Fire Protection District (Long Valley FPD) was formed in 1974 to provide fire protection to the communities in Long Valley, i.e. Sunny Slopes, Aspen Springs, Crowley Lake, McGee Creek, and Long Valley. The district boundaries include approximately 114 square miles of public and private lands along Highway 395 in Long Valley.
