We understand that "thinking globally but acting locally" is a noble concept, but one that requires effective resource strategies, public/private partnerships and stakeholder building before acceptance and active participation by the public, businesses, haulers, property managers, builders, elected officials and legislators will successfully occur... LBA Associates provides a wide range of services to support this effort... A LBA-led team has also begun working with the Town of Erie. Early efforts have included preliminary assessment of PAYT and curbside compost strategies with the town's open hauler system; these will be more comprehensively evaluated in 2021. LBA also helped secure nearly $250,000 in RREO grant funding to capitalize this work as well as to relocate and improve Erie's Recycling Center.
