Like many of us you could say I had quite a turbulent childhood. Although my parents had the best intentions at heart, things didn't always go smoothly. Their overbearing parenting style, constant concern about my performance in school and their divorce left a big impact on me. It resulted in a vulnerable, angry and confused kid... I love my parents to death and without them I wouldn't be where I am today but, at that time I wanted better... As an only child I didn't have any brothers or sisters to fall back on and discussing my experiences with friends was no option. Several years of confusion and therapy sessions later I eventually found my answers on the internet. It became my escape.
