Mr. Anderson is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Alaska Bar Association, the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association, and the Washington State Association for Justice. Mr. Anderson is actively involved in the community as the President of the Tacoma Rotary 8 Foundation, a past President of Rotary Club of Tacoma #8, as a past President and rules adjudicator for his homeowner's association, and as a board member and performer in Breath of Aire, a faith-based choir that performs concerts both locally and nationwide to create joy, lift spirits, and raise money for the benefit of charitable organizations. Mr. Anderson lives in Tacoma, Washington with his wife Jena. Mark B. Anderson, a native of Wilmington, Delaware, earned his B.S. in Operations Research from the United States Naval Academy (1977). Following graduation, Mr. Anderson became a career submarine officer in the United States Navy, qualifying and serving as a nuclear engineer on Los Angeles and Trident class submarines. Mr. Anderson subsequently earned his J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law (1995 cum laude).
