Dr. Epstein received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Adelphi University's Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies. He has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with a wide range of conditions. He trained at Manhattan Psychiatric Center (Adult and Children's facilities), South Oaks Hospital, and the Adelphi University Center for Psychological Services. Dr. Epstein has served as a Unit Psychologist at Interfaith Medical Center, where he also functioned as a supervisor and instructor to clinicians in training. He was a Clinical Supervisor in the F.E.G.S. Manhattan Continuing Day Treatment Program, overseeing patient care and supervising staff and interns. As a consultant Dr. Epstein has advised staff and evaluated clients at numerous social service agencies including Catholic Guardian Society and Home Bureau, Safe Space NYC, and Advocates for Children. Dr. Epstein has been in private practice for over 10 years, specializing in adult and adolescent psychotherapy..
