After University, Ross Murray commenced his career in recruitment, managing teams working with Management Consulting, Financial Services and Technology companies. During his eight years in this industry, he dealt with all aspects of executive search and placement. However, a limiting factor to this experience was not being able to spend more time working with the client, due to a deadline driven culture based on sales targets. As a result, he identified a need in the market for a company that offered a more discrete, personal and focused approach. With this ethos in mind, he founded Matchpoint Connect in 2011, and now specialises in FinTech and Transaction Banking recruitment for clients ranging from boutiques to leading global institutions.
