Amy V. Jasani

Amy V. Jasani, O.D. is a full scope optometrist that has received extensive training in primary eye care, ocular disease, pediatrics, contact lenses, and pre and post-operative refractive and cataract surgery care. She was born and raised in New Jersey. She received her bachelor's degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience at Rutgers University where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry in New York City. She graduated with honors and as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, an international optometric honor society. Following graduation, Dr. Jasani obtained additional training by completing a Primary Eye Care residency at SUNY College of Optometry. As part of her residency she provided routine and emergency eye care while also taking time to supervise and teach students. After residency, she furthered her knowledge base by working at a busy ophthalmology practice in South Jersey providing extensive refractive, contact lens, and emergency care. Dr. Jasani is dedicated to providing excellent care to all of her patients.

Cristin D. Subramaniam

Cristin D. Subramaniam, M.D. is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist who provides high quality and compassionate eye care to adults and children. Dr. Subramaniam offers treatment for patients with a wide variety of eye disorders, including dry eye syndrome and glaucoma. She utilizes the latest techniques and technology to perform cataract surgery. Dr. Subramaniam grew up in Plainsboro, New Jersey. She graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Psychology and received her medical degree from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. She then completed an Internal Medicine Internship at the University of Pittsburgh and her Ophthalmology Residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. Upon graduating, she returned to New Jersey serving patients as a comprehensive ophthalmologist.

Dominick A. Benedetto

Dominick A. Benedetto, M.D. is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery. Dr. Benedetto has been in private practice since 1981. He is a certified LASIK surgeon as well as a highly experienced cataract surgeon and has been recognized as a New York Metropolitan area "Top Doctor" in several publications for the last 10 years. Dr. Benedetto received his B.S. from Rutgers University and his Masters and Medical degrees from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He served as an intern in internal medicine at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and completed his Ophthalmology residency at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia (recently renamed The Wills Eye Institute). He remained on the teaching staff at Wills as an Associate Attending Surgeon for 12 years.

Ezra S. Kazam

Ezra S. Kazam, M.D. is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from the City College of New York, his medical degree from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 40 years. Dr. Kazam completed his internal medicine internship at the Albert Einstein College Hospital and the prestigious ophthalmology residency program at Montefiore Hospital Medical Center where he was Chief Resident. He is a Senior Attending at Morristown Medical Center and served as Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology. He has been nominated by his peers as Top Doc in New Jersey and Best Doctors in America. Dr. Kazam is Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners.

Jeffrey M. Reisman

Jeffrey M. Reisman, M.D. is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Reisman has been performing laser eye surgery in Morristown and Morris County, New Jersey since 1996. He is fellowship trained in cornea and refractive surgery and is a certified LASIK surgeon. Dr. Reisman is a seasoned cataract and LASIK surgeon with more than 20 years of surgical experience, and he has been selected and recognized in the Guide to America's Top Ophthalmologists. Dr. Reisman received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from Hahnemann University. After the completion of his Ophthalmology residency at the prestigious UMDNJ, New Jersey Medical College, he successfully obtained a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Robert G. Barone

Robert G. Barone, M.D., FACS, a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon, joined the staff of Morristown Ophthalmology Associates, PA in 2006. Dr. Barone received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Georgetown University and his medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School. He completed a medical internship and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After practicing general ophthalmology for two years in New York, Dr. Barone completed a medical retinal and electrophysiology fellowship at New York University. The following year, he completed a second fellowship at New York Hospital - Cornell Medical Center in surgical retinal and ocular trauma. Dr. Barone is a member of many prestigious societies including the American Society of Vitreo Retinal Specialists, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American College of Surgeons. He is also past President of New Jersey Retinal Society. Dr. Barone's current interests are in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, and macular degeneration. He has co-authored a chapter on retinal detachment repair in a comprehensive retinal text. He has also been published in the journal Retina. Currently, he is a clinical instructor of ophthalmology at UMDNJ.
