Carmen Williams - Managing Director

Carmen Williams is a founding member of the firm and serves as a Managing Director. She has been continuously engaged in the investment management and financial industry for 32 years. Her primary responsibility is managing the firm's portfolio management system. She also provides the oversight for client reporting and coordinates the communication and data interface with third party financial institutions. She previously served as a Senior Vice President and Manager of Operations and Security Trading with another Registered Investment Adviser firm. Prior to this association, she was a Trust Operations Officer with SouthTrust Bank. Carmen is married to Larry Williams, a chemical engineer, and they have one son, Dean. Douglas R. McLeod - Managing Director

Douglas Reed McLeod has been continuously engaged in the investment management business since 1992. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and has lived in Mobile for nearly 40 years. He graduated from Auburn University in 1987 with a B.S. in Finance. While at Auburn he played for the University's golf team earning two varsity letters. He practiced public and financial accounting before enrolling in the Manderson Graduate School of Business at the University of Alabama where he earned a Master of Business Administration in 1992. During graduate school he was Vice President of his MBA Class and earned an internship at the University of Alabama Productivity Center. In 2008, he received the Accredited Investment Fiduciary ( AIF ) designation from the Center of Fiduciary Studies in Association with the University of Pittsburgh's Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.

Katherine M. McGinley - Chief Compliance Officer

Katie is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas. She is married to Rob McGinley and they have three children, Madison, Barclay and Mac. She and her family are members of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church.

Kyle C. Pugh - Managing Director

Kyle C. Pugh is a founding member of the firm and serves as a Managing Director. He also is the firm's Chief Investment Officer and a member of its Investment Policy Committee. He has been engaged in the financial services and investment management industries since 1988. During this time, he has held management positions in both retail and commercial banking, served as a co-portfolio manager for a mid-cap equity mutual fund, and as manager for various individual, corporate, trust, profit sharing and 401(k) investment accounts. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The Citadel and a Masters in Business Administration from the Manderson Graduate School of Business at the University of Alabama. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Alabama. Born in Mobile, Kyle is a lifelong resident and is married with three children. He is a 1999 graduate of Leadership Mobile, a past board member for the American Cancer Society of Mobile, and currently serves as a board member for the Greater Mobile Development Corporation, the Bulldog Athletic Association, and as a member of the Board of Advisors for the Mobile Chamber of Commerce. Kyle and his family are members of Ashland Place Methodist Church where he serves on the finance committee. Mara Fulford - VP

Mara Fulford has been continuously engaged in the financial services industry since 1989. She is a shareholder of Mitchell, McLeod, Pugh & Williams, Inc. and serves on the firm's Investment Policy Committee. She previously served as an Assistant Portfolio Manager with Atlanta Capital Management, LLC. She also has served as a lending officer with Sterling Lending and a Portfolio Administrator with Smith Barney. She graduated with a B.S. in finance from the University of Alabama. Mara's responsibilities include managing client portfolios and coordinating security trading activity for many of the firm's portfolios.

Richard Mitchell - Managing Director

Rick Mitchell is a founding member of the firm and serves as a Managing Director and as a member of the firm's Investment Policy Committee. He has been continuously engaged in the investment management and financial industry since 1978. During that time, he has served as a Bank Trust Officer, Credit Analyst, Commercial Lending Officer and as a Principal of a Registered Investment Adviser. His clients include high net worth individuals, profit sharing and 401-(k) plans, trusts and estates and private foundations. Rick is a graduate of the University of Alabama and of The College of William & Mary's School of Law; he is a member of the Virginia State Bar. Rick is a native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and has lived in Mobile since 1978. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Compassionate Friends and on the Vestry of Christ Church Cathedral. He is a past president and board member of the Coastal Conservation Association of Mobile and of the Friends of the Museum of the City of Mobile. He is married and the father of three children.
