NELSON AVENUE PINES BED AND BREAKFAST

Our summer wouldn't be complete without a visit to Penney at Nelson Ave Pines. We found the perfect place to stay during our annual visit where Penney and her assistant, Phyllis, make us feel like treasured friends. Not only is the Pines within walking distance to most attractions but it's also on a quiet, picture-perfect block which is an antidote to the NYC bustle where we live. The beautifully decorated rooms complement the exterior and are very comfortable. We are spoiled by the sumptuous breakfast Penney prepares every day and makes me wish she'd open a restaurant. Nelson Avenue Pines is a reason to make Cooperstown your destination. And there's also museums and a great opera company... Although we've been baseball fans for life, we've never been to the HOF.
