Jeanne Neylon Decker

Jeanne Neylon Decker, a communications professional with more than two decades of public relations and marketing communications expertise, is the president and founder of San Diego-based mrktmix, inc. Her career encompasses many years of account management and creative services for highly regarded public relations and advertising agencies including BBDO/Chicago and Golin, where her clients included such household names as Nabisco Brands, General Foods, Quaker Oats, Kohler Co., Ameritech, Centel Corp., William Wrigley, Jr. Co., and The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. She has also worked with Blanchard Training & Development, Radisson Hotels, Doubletree Hotels, McDonald's Operators Associations, and Ralphs Grocery Company. Her work has been recognized with numerous industry awards including two ADDY Awards from the American Advertising Federation and an EAR Award (Effective Advertising on Radio) from the San Diego Radio Broadcasters Association. She has also won the International Association of Business Communicators' Spectra Award of Excellence, the Publicity Club of Chicago's Golden Trumpet Award and the Women in Communications, Inc. Clarion Award. Jeanne has been a guest lecturer and team teacher at University of California San Diego's Extension Program in Public Relations Strategies, Target Marketing and Feature Writing. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Boston University's College of Communications. She is an active member of SDX (formerly the San Diego Ad Club) and was a member and former board member (Public Relations Representative/ Sounds of Hope for Children Media Relations Director) of Rady Children's Hospital Auxiliary/Carmel Valley Unit for more than 20 years.
