Pat was heard on Wood 1300's Auto Talk on Saturday mornings until his grandson, Shaun O'Neill, took over for him. He is also writing a book about the life of an auto mechanic dating back to the 1930's. Tedd worked as a parts washer/janitor part-time from an early age in his father's shop. He learned to fix transmissions at age 15 and started part-time work in 1978. In 1984 Tedd received specialized transmission training through ATRA. He also took electronics courses in 1986 and wheel alignment training at Hunter Engineering in 1988. Tedd became partners with his father, Pat, in 1988. In 1998, Pat sold his shares back to the company making Tedd the sole owner of the business. Tedd and his wife Lisa are graduates of FHPS, as are their three children: Shaun, Craig, and Shannon. Tedd's hobbies include raising and training Golden Retrievers, astronomy, woodworking, aviation, road, and mountain biking.
