Alex Lobets

Alex grew up as the second youngest kid of 7. He was born in Belarus and immigrated with my family to the United States of America in 2003. The Lobets eventually settled into Spanaway, Washington as their permanent home. He graduated from Spanaway Lake High School in 2017 and proceeded to attend Pierce College in the hopes of becoming a Software Engineer. In the middle of his first engineering course, however, he quickly realized engineering was not his path. After taking some time to ponder the possibilities, he realized that the legal field could be a place where he could work to his strengths and find some true purpose. Here at Park Chenaur, he is a legal assistant working with case managers Mitchel and Paty. Alex will earn his Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal studies from Tacoma Community College in 2023. His goal is stated as thus: Always provide the client a trouble-free path to the best result possible for a seamless resolution. Alex is always glad to help, and is truly grateful for any opportunity to make a difference in his local community. Alex also speaks Russian. Outside of work, Alex enjoys playing and watching sports such as soccer, basketball, and football. He loves to go on hikes in the Great Pacific Northwest and to spend time with his friends and family.

Andrew Kim

Andrew Kim is a local in this community having grown up in Federal Way. He went to the University of Washington for undergrad before going to Rutgers in New Jersey for law school. After law school, he returned and was admitted to practice law in Washington State in 2015. All of his life, Andrew wanted to help people. At Park Chenaur, he is using his legal skills to help our clients find resolutions for their injuries. Also, being a local, he enjoys sharing with the larger community tips on how to deal with insurance companies or how to proceed if you're injured in a car accident. Andrew wants to best serve the members of his community by being there whenever he is needed. When Andrew is not immersed in resolving matters for the benefit of our clients, he enjoys the great Pacific Northwest and all it has to offer including its various restaurants, hiking trails, and coffee shops. He particularly enjoys backpacking and the fresh air of the mountains. But most of all, he enjoys helping people and looks forward to helping you should you ever be in need.

Angela Paik

If you ever visit our Federal Way office, Angela is usually the friendly face behind the front desk that greets you. Born in South Korea and raised in America, she is fluent in both Korean and English. Angela joined the Park Chenaur team in 2020 after completing her Associate degree from Highline College. As the legal assistant to Gina Kim, she communicates with insurance adjusters, orders records, organizes bills, and translates when needed. She thoroughly enjoys working and interacting within the Korean-American community on behalf of Park Chenaur & Associates. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking, and getting lost in a good book. She also loves taking care of her plants and a multitude of diverse pets.

Gabriela Gorash

Gabriela joined Park Chenaur as the Litigation Legal Assistant to Andrew Kim. She takes care of scheduling, answering discovery, providing administrative support, and whatever else is necessary to help the cases and assist the clients. She enjoys the excitement and unpredictability of litigation. Gabi always gives 110% to ensure that clients get the best results possible. Her favorite part about working at Park Chenaur is being able to help people within her local community, something very important to her. She is also excited about any chance she gets to speak Moldovan/Romanian. She is meticulous and reliable, and is an integral part of the litigation team. Before joining the firm, Gabriela attended Tacoma Community College, graduating in 2020 with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies. Outside of work, you may find Gabriela active in her church or spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys photography, painting, going on hikes, cooking and baking.

Gina Kim

Gina is an important member of our personal injury team. Her experience in customer relations and real estate has provided a baseline for her innovative approach to case management. She has helped coordinate office operations and acted as a crucial liaison for the clients with translation needs. She assists with administrative support tasks and is responsible for records management, intake file organization, and ordering medical documentation and investigative records as well.

J. Taylor Kindred

Taylor joined us in 2018 as a paralegal to litigation attorney Mick Pusztai. He brings eighteen years' experience to our firm, having earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Highline College in 1999. He first worked in Seattle as a claims administrator for plaintiffs' counsel in the representation of commercial fishermen and Alaska Natives impacted by the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill of 1989. After many years in Yakima as an investigator and paralegal, Taylor went on to found his own business as a licensed private investigator and process server. His experience with both sides of personal injury litigation - as well as diligence and kindness in all his work - make Taylor a tremendous resource for our clients, attorneys, and staff. In his spare time, Taylor plays the guitar and writes music. He studies Shudokan Karate and has obtained his first-degree black belt. He takes pride in working hard for those who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents and claims of medical malpractice.

Johanna Walker

Johanna's role here at Park Chenaur is multifaceted. She is our receptionist extraordinaire, and in addition generally keeps things running in the office and kitchen. She is a highly productive, hard working legal assistant with our case managers, Mitchel and Paty . Johanna also loves her role in planning our office get-togethers, meetings and socials, and helping make sure those run as smoothly as possible. Johanna participates in the pre-litigation phase of a file, including intake, subrogation, and medical record retrieval. She is currently enrolled in Green River Community College where she is studying Criminal Justice. When she's not at work or school you can find her snuggled up with her German Shepherd, Duke, or her chickens, Howard and Pearl. Her favorite things to do include traveling, even small road trips, as well as relaxing at home playing video games or just hanging out with her best friends and roommates.

Julia Williams

Julia joined the firm as our legal intake specialist. Her primary responsibilities include interviewing and onboarding potential new clients. She has excellent communication skills and a passion for connecting with people. Julia is a great listener and always remains calm under pressure. Being a mother has probably helped with this skill, as did her years in the restaurant industry where she has managed some of the most exclusive restaurants in the country. Julia and her family came to Washington after having lived many years on the Big Island of Hawaii. She is always looking for any opportunity to support our troops, a cause very close to her heart, as her husband is a combat veteran. They love going to Disneyland with the kids and strive to make it a yearly vacation. When not working or traveling, Julia enjoys baking and cooking, a skill she acquired from her time interacting with some top chefs. She aIso adores hanging out with her three dogs, all much bigger than she is!

Kimberly Yoon

Kimberly has been a member of the personal injury legal team at Park Chenaur for over 21 years. She attended the University of Washington and began working shortly thereafter. She has been an integral component of the firm's success and maintains a broad range of duties, including communicating with clients, administering intake of new cases, spearheading initial investigations, overseeing case management, monitoring treatment status, and assisting with case file quality control. Kimberly participates actively in her church and community. She loves to sing and travel and is fluent in English and Korean. She has particularly strong organizational skills and is known around the office for her uncompromising commitment to the client.

Liandra Tiller

Liandra Tiller is an attorney with over 13 years of experience. She is admitted to practice in Georgia and Washington with Washington being her current area of focus. Liandra received her undergraduate degree from Florida State University in 2003 with a B.S. in Psychology. After graduation, Liandra began her career as an insurance adjuster. During this period, she had the opportunity to interact with hundreds of attorneys specializing in personal injury and insurance defense. This interaction sparked an interest in the law and motivated her to attend law school. Liandra graduated from Emory University School of Law in 2007. During her legal career, Liandra has worked as defense counsel for two of the largest insurance carriers in the country. This experience, coupled with her work as an adjuster, provides her with a broad understanding of the arguments and strategies typically employed by insurance companies when presented with an injury claim. This knowledge allows her to better serve her clients now that she has decided to focus her practice on negotiating settlements for those injured in accidents. In her free time, Liandra enjoys hiking and kayaking. She is also an active volunteer with the Humane Society and regularly fosters young animals.

Michael Lis-Sette

Michael grew up on the east side of Lake Washington, where he continues to live to this day. He graduated from Seattle University, with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and then went on to complete his Paralegal Certificate from Edmonds Community College. Michael joined Park Chenaur & Associates in 2013 and works as a Paralegal for Mitchel Pinedo's team. While working on a case, Michael aims to make sure everything is as easy for the client as possible as their claim moves forward. He really appreciates the fact that his team focuses on getting the best results possible for their clients. When not at work, you may find Michael spending time with his dog outdoors; cooking up something amazing in the kitchen; or staying in Cannon Beach, Oregon, or London, England. As he puts it, Cannon Beach is "the most boring place on Earth, and my absolute favorite place to be." He also enjoys reading, writing, and traveling to new places.

Mitchel Pinedo

Mitchel has been a case manager with us since 2010. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, and raised in the United States, he is fluent in Spanish and English. His cultural background inspires his work; he says, "Some people are not really heard." Mitchel listens, and he strives to perfect his own communication with clients. He goes to bat for his clients as he negotiates with insurance adjusters. He went through his own motor vehicle accident in 2013, and this first-hand experience renewed his commitment to his work. Mitchel breaks down the language barrier every day, and he is invaluable to our team. Mitchel now lives in Puyallup, having grown up in the Tacoma area. The youngest of five children in a large, close-knit family, he works alongside his sister Paty in the office. He is active in his community and church, and he volunteers each year at a camp for children and families affected by cancer. He enjoys running and practicing soccer in his spare time.

Natalie Shermer

Natalie is a valued member of the firm, working closely with Liandra as a legal assistant. She has been working in the legal field since 2019 after graduating from Purdue University Global. Natalie began her career as a litigation assistant at a local defense firm. Lucky for us, she knew pretty quickly that it was not the right fit. For her, being on the Plaintiff's side feels more rewarding as it gives positivity back to the community by assisting the injured instead of working against them. She loves interacting closely with each client and seeing up close how she can add value. Natalie is hardworking, reliable and always ready to lend a hand when needed. When time allows, she enjoys volunteering at local shelters. Her education includes experience and training in the culinary arts, where she's even had the opportunity to work with renowned chefs in the Seattle area. Natalie loves spending her free time with friends and family.

Paty Pinedo

Paty joined us as a paralegal in 2016 after more than sixteen years in Spanish-language radio. She moved to the United States from Guadalajara, Mexico, at fourteen. She says, "I enjoy the results I see for my clients," a passionate advocate for the Spanish-speaking community. Where insurance companies may try to take advantage of individuals based on their background or language, Paty steps in. She communicates directly with insurance adjusters to track bills and payments, facilitate settlements, and organize clients' records. She is dedicated to helping individuals navigate their claims and move on with their lives; she educates people about their rights every day. Paty takes great pride in her work.

Paula Burger

Paula joined Park Chenaur as a Case Manager and is on a team with Liandra. She began her career in the legal field eight years ago when she decided to return to the workforce after being a stay-at-home mom to her three children. Her experience as a paralegal for both plaintiff and defense firms has provided her with a well-rounded perspective when it comes to personal injury cases. She works hard on behalf of her clients, communicating directly with insurance adjusters, tracking bills and payments, organizing clients' records and facilitating settlements. In her spare time Paula enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her greatest joy has been being able to watch her children grow and develop into amazing young adults.

Rick Park

Founding partners Rick Park and Angel Chenaur met in junior high school here in Federal Way and have been friends for 38 years. They each attended the University of Washington, and then on to Seattle University School of Law, each earning their degree of Juris Doctor. Rick and Angel opened a law practice together in 1999. Since then, Park Chenaur & Associates has focused on personal injury law while also handling other areas.

Shelby Morris

Shelby graduated with an Associate of Applied Business in Paralegal Studies from Eastern Gateway Community College and is currently working on her Bachelor's degree in Humanities and Interdisciplinary Studies. She joined our team in 2020 as the Legal Assistant to Kimberly Yoon. When working on a case, it is her goal to get clients the best possible outcome with the least amount of stress for the client. She says, "The only thing I want the client to focus on is their treatment and healing, we can handle the rest." When not at work, you may find Shelby hanging out with her two basset hounds, listening to her favorite music, or trying out a new restaurant with her friends. She also enjoys reading, writing, singing, and advocating for human rights.

Talia Layman

Talia joined Park Chenaur & Associates in 2019. Soon after, she earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal studies from Highline College. In her time with the firm, she has learned to handle a wide variety of duties, including auditing ledgers, answering discovery, and drafting documents to comply with court deadlines. Currently, she provides support to litigation attorney Cynthia Park. Talia strives for excellence in her work, and she is known for her conscientiousness and integrity. Talia was born and raised in Washington. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering, hiking, and spending time with friends.

Tatyana Martynova

Tatyana joined the Park Chenaur team in 2019. For most of her life, she has lived in Tacoma where she graduated from Tacoma Community College and the University of Washington. She has experience in various fields from office administration to interpreting. Tatyana maintains a broad range of duties, including accounts payable, office administration, and technical support as well as providing assistance to the senior paralegal, Lola Serna. Tatyana speaks English and is fluent in Russian. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking, jogging, and biking. She also appreciates art and on occasion likes to draw and paint with acrylics.

Yarin Garcia

Yarin joined Park Chenaur as a legal assistant with case managers Mitchel and Paty. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington in Education, Community and Organizations with a Minor in Diversity. In her position, she has had the ability to balance a variety of tasks that include opening intakes, requesting medical records, and overseeing client treatment. Yarin enjoys coming into the office to fulfill her passion of working with our local diverse communities and recognizing the impact she is making in our client's lives. Her sweet and caring disposition puts clients at ease, while her competence coupled with responsiveness and an eager willingness to actively help makes her an indispensable part of the team. Yarin also speaks Spanish. Yarin is passionate about issues surrounding undocumented students and has volunteered her time and efforts toward providing support and resources for this cause. When not occupied with work, Yarin also enjoys baking, hiking, and spending quality time with her family and dogs. She also loves exploring new restaurants and investing her time and focus into music and books.
