The clinic was founded to serve specialists in neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, and pain management with conservative treatment solutions for their patients for which there are limited other options. Dr. Robert Barton, D.C. completed a neurosurgical rotation with Edward Murphy, M.D. in 1996 forging a relationship that has ultimately benefited thousands of patients. A specific biomechanical rehabilitation model was developed to address mechanical pain syndromes that were difficult to treat with traditional passive therapies alone. The clinic continued to develop relationships with other specialists thus providing solutions to additional patients suffering from musculoskeletal pain syndromes.
