ROSARY GARDENS

Rosary Gardens' nursery is set in acres of untouched countryside near the region of ‘Triantafilia' (Greek for ‘rose'). The Cyprus climate is ideal for floriculture. Unlike Western European nurseries, our greenhouses are bathed in the warmth and light of natural sunshine ten months of every year. Our roses enjoy the fresh natural water of an underground spring some hundreds of feet beneath the nursery. The same water cascades over a special cooling wall, to cool the clean coastal Cyprus air and in turn maintain exactly the right temperature for our roses. At Rosary Gardens we firmly believe that we must respect the natural resources that we use and are thus committed to an environmental programme to help preserve our ‘secret garden' for generations to come. Elements of this programme include: - Recycling of all unused water to our own reservoir. - Re-use of water in cooling and irrigation systems when needed. - Energy and waste reduction through special irrigation systems imported from..
