Our mission is to provide statistical consultative services to the university and local community. Through our consulting projects, we aim to educate our students about the practice of statistical consulting. We also aim to connect researchers, both internal and external to the university, to the expertise of our statistics faculty... Founded in 1974, The Department of Statistics at The Ohio State University has grown steadily over the last 40+ years to become an internationally recognized hub of research in statistical science and of statistics education. The department currently has 27 tenure-track/tenured faculty members, nine professors emeriti in residence, and several associated faculty members with expertise in statistical education and consulting. The department also regularly hosts visiting scholars from around the world... We are a team of faculty, staff, and graduate students housed in the Department of Statistics at The Ohio State University.
