Meet Ashley - one of our Membership Sales Representatives, who is responsible for helping potential members understand the value of membership and the benefits it offers.
As a Membership Sales Representative, Ashley is committed to helping potential members understand the benefits of membership and how it can help them achieve their goals. Ashley listens actively, collaborates with members, and strives to exceed their expectations of the membership process at the SC Chamber. Her exceptional communication skills allow her to build rapport with clients quickly, offer advice and guidance to potential members, and manage the membership process seamlessly.
Ashley is a native of Charleston, South Carolina, but calls Greenville her current home! Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Charleston Southern University.
In her spare time, she takes on her favorite hobby, pottery. She is also the mother of an amazing 7-year-old boy and loves to play and travel with him!

Bob Morgan is the President and CEO of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, the leading voice for business in South Carolina. Since stepping into the role in April 2021, Bob has spearheaded the SC Chamber's operations and advocacy to ensure efforts are laser-focused on the Chamber's vision - to make South Carolina's economy the most vibrant in the United States, creating opportunity and prosperity for all.
Under Bob's leadership, the SC Chamber has initiated a realignment and a strategic planning process to guarantee that the SC Chamber best represents all Palmetto businesses, both big and small, across all industry sectors. Bob has overseen the strengthening of the SC Chamber Education and Workforce Development Foundation and supported the introduction of the Foundation's new Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, making certain that the chamber's work intentionally reflects the vibrant population it represents. Bob has positioned the SC Chamber as a leading advocate for comprehensive tax reform, lawsuit reform, regulatory reform, economic development, and workforce initiatives in South Carolina.
Prior to joining the SC Chamber, Bob worked as the Public Affairs Director at Robinson and Bradshaw from 2019-2021 and led the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce as President and CEO from 2005 - 2018. He served as president and CEO of the Gaston Chamber of Commerce from 2002 to 2005.
Bob is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He and his wife Meg, a Gamecock, live in Columbia, SC, and are the parents of two adult sons.

Meet Cynthia - our Chief Diversity Officer, who leads our company's efforts to build a culture of inclusion and equity. Cynthia also serves as a part of the Chambers Legislative Policy team with a focus on education and workforce legislation.
Cynthia has over 22 years of experience collaborating with schools and businesses to improve students' academic achievement and encouraging post-secondary education to have an educated workforce in South Carolina. Cynthia is a skilled communicator and collaborator, fostering strong relationships across the Palmetto State. Cynthia graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Cynthia serves as the Executive of the SC Chamber Education and Workforce Foundation. The programs include the HBCU STEM Program; SC Business Week; and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Center.
When Cynthia is not in the office, she can be found spending time with her husband, James Bennett, and their two sons, J. Anthony and Houston.

Daniel attended the University of South Carolina Aiken where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration.
Daniel is a seasoned government affairs professional with a passion for advocacy and a deep understanding of public policy. As our Government Affairs Manager, he is responsible for driving the SC Chamber's government relations strategies across all levels of government. Daniel is dedicated to working tirelessly to advance the Chamber's policy objectives and supporting the local business community. His commitment to excellence and passion for advocacy make him an invaluable asset to our team.
In his free time, Daniel enjoys playing golf and spending time outdoors.

A native of Sumter, South Carolina, Greyson attended Davidson College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government.
During his free time, Greyson enjoys traveling and attending Gamecocks football games.

She is responsible for managing the growth and retention of the organization's membership base, as well as creating compelling content and messaging that effectively communicates the value of the organization to its members and stakeholders.
Originally from Florence, South Carolina, she is a lifelong South Carolinian. Hannah graduated from the University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Human Resources with a minor in Criminal Justice.
When Hannah is not in the office, she enjoys traveling and exploring nature with her dog, Leo.

Meet Lavinia - our Vice President of Finance and Administration. As the VP of Finance and Administration at the SC Chamber of Commerce, she plays a crucial role in managing our financial resources and ensuring efficient operations.
With over 28 years of accounting experience, Lavinia's expertise is unparalleled. Having spent 22 years in the governmental and nonprofit sector, she has acquired a wealth of knowledge that she brings to the SC Chamber of Commerce. Her extensive experience allows her to effectively navigate the complexities of financial management and drive the Chamber's success.
As a Rutgers University - Newark graduate and New York State CPA, she has dedicated her career to the public service sector allowing her to have a positive impact on her community and stay true to her ethnic background.
When she is not at work crunching numbers, Lavinia embraces the most important role of all - being a parent. She takes pride in being a loving and supportive parent to her teenagers Emilio, Lucas, and Natalia.

Originally from the Midwest, Chesterton, Indiana, Nicole came to Columbia to study communications. Nicole attended Columbia College and graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication.
Nicole is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive multimedia campaigns across all channels, including social media, email, and website. Nicole develops content that authentically showcases the organization's mission and values. Additionally, she helps ensure brand consistency by providing creative direction and collaborating with colleagues across the organization on brand messaging.
In her spare time, Nicole enjoys exploring the city and hanging out with family and friends. Nicole looks forward to Saturdays when she and her Beagle, Starlord, take on Soda City.

Meet Roddy - Our Senior Director of Revenue and Membership Development. Roddy leads a team that is responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase membership and revenue for the SC Chamber.
With over 30 years of experience in the field. He has a proven track record of driving revenue growth in both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Roddy brings to the Chamber his knowledge in negotiating and executing contracts with service providers, vendors, and partners and forecasting financial expectations.

Meet Samantha- our Government Affairs Intern. She spends most of her time with us at the South Carolina State House, attending committee meetings and general assembly floor proceedings while conducting research and tracking legislative issues related to the business community.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Samantha found her way to Columbia through the University of South Carolina and is currently a senior pursuing her bachelor's degree in political science. Post-graduation, she intends to attend law school to further her studies.
In her spare time, Samantha enjoys exploring the city of Columbia and spending time with her friends.

Meet Suzy - our Manager of Partnerships & Sponsorships, who is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships and sponsorships that are beneficial to both the SC Chamber and its members.
Suzy takes a proactive approach to partnership and sponsorship management, using her skills in negotiation, communication, and relationship building to create mutually beneficial agreements. She is adept at identifying unique partnership opportunities that give the Chamber and its members a strategic advantage while ensuring that partners receive value in return.
Suzy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
