Scleroderma is a progressive autoimmune disease that can cause stiffening and scarring of the skin, lungs, kidneys, blood vessels and other organs. Our program pursues intensive basic and clinical research to advance the treatment of scleroderma. Our work requires the collaboration of many specialists, including rheumatology, pulmonary, dermatology, cardiology, nephrology, gastroenterology and plastic surgery... The Northwestern Scleroderma Program is committed to conducting innovative research to increase our knowledge of the disease, allowing us to provide advanced, individualized patient care through Feinberg-affiliated care sites.
