SEAHORSE SWIM SCHOOL

I have been swimming since I was a toddler and am truly grateful for the life saving skills I have learned. I had my first swimming lesson at age 4. At age 7, I joined my local YMCA swim team. Since age 7, I swam with a few different YMCA's in Southern California until high school. During my teenage years, I also participated in Jr. Lifeguards at Will Rogers State Beach in Santa Monica, California. At age 8, my mom began to take me to Red Cross first first-aid classes. At age 17, I took my first Lifeguard Training and Water Safety Instructor certification class through the American Red Cross. I have been teaching swimming lessons ever since!... I started as a lifeguard and swim instructor for the City of Los Angeles and eventually took a Water Safety Instructor class to begin to master everything that goes into being an effective swim teacher.
