Informatics: The interdisciplinary application and use of information and technology to advance organizational objectives. Design and use of technology are not exclusively technical matters, and include relationships between technology and its application in practical settings. We develop solutions in context, accounting for organizational, social, and cultural environments among which computing, information technology, and information are used.
