Images and words are all around us. They compete with one another for our attention, each speaking to different parts of our brain in completely different languages. There are many ways they are used to compliment one another: screenplays and cinematography, comic book panels and speech bubbles, chapters and illustrations... But what if the two were inextricably combined? What if there was no delineation where one ends and the other begins?... I'm an independent artist living outside of Chicago, IL with my wife Kelly, my kids Oliver and Fiona, and my crazy golden retriever Thor. I specialize in mixing images and text to create dynamic, highly detailed word art pieces.
