Stackallen was founded in 1840. The name itself derives from the Irish "Stigh Colláin" House of Cullen. A book on the history of the Old School can be purchased from the secretary... In our school we strive to create a happy, safe and child centred education. To do this we rely on the support of all our parents without which we could not succeed.
