SOUTHERN COOPERAGE

Our cooperage is situated in the heart of the winelands and produces various size barrels ranging from 1lt to 100lt. Although the miniature barrels are decorative they are fully functional and ideally suited for all the fortified wines. Other products are fruit bowls, nut bowls, ice buckets, display barrels and half barrels for planters. We have been distributing our miniature barrels locally and internationally for the last two decades, mainly Australia, New Zealand and Japan... We service the wine industry by reconditioning, shaving, toasting and repairing used and new barrels. We also supply wooden cradles and stop blocks for the barrels. We produce quality hand made French and American oak furniture from recycled wine and brandy barrels, with our standard range of tables, chairs and wine racks as well as custom built furniture to our client's specifications...
