STORAGE CLIMATE CONTROLLED

Storage Climate Controlled was established in 2013 as a locally owned state of the art climate-controlled storage facility. At the time, this was the first and only completely indoor self-storage provider in the central Springfield area. The original facility involved repurposing the Haik's Wholesale Dry Goods building at 1240 E Trafficway with 147 all indoor temperature controlled storage units. In April of 2015, the building at 1258 E Trafficway was purchased and given a new lease on life with an additional 129 indoor self-storage units. It was originally the home of Nahon and Sons Dry Goods and later, Draughon Business College and Vatterott College. In 2019, the two buildings were then connected together with an expansion that added 60 more units.SCC continued to expand its offerings by purchasing a John A Morris warehouse located 2750 W Battlefield Rd. The building was repurposed to offer an additional 272 units for tenants in the southwest part of the Springfield Area... Climate..
