We are a friendly village committee run Pre School, situated in the heart of the village, the Steeple Bumpstead Village Hall. Our aim is to ensure that each child will experience a caring, safe and stimulating environment where the foundations for learning will be established and built upon... We value and respect that our parents are the first and most important educators of their children and regard them as members of our setting who have full participatory rights. Therefore, we feel that they should be valued and respected, consulted, involved, informed and included at all levels. We achieve this by appointing a key person to each child, to build on our partnership with our parents... We provide children with an opportunity to play safely in a large space, meeting other children and beginning to interact socially. An added benefit is that parents/carers also get to meet new people and have a chat with others in a relaxed atmosphere.
