Barbara Mintzer-McMahon

For the last twenty-three years, Ms. Mintzer-McMahon has been working as an organizational consultant, executive coach and trainer. She specializes in leadership development, team building, change management, building strategic partnerships and training in mindful leadership. In 1989, she founded The Center for Transitional Management (CTM) in Orinda, California. Ms. McMahon is also head of the consulting division of Women in Leadership for The Alexcel Group. She has been head of the coaching faculty for the Global Institute for Leadership at Linkage Inc. from 2003-2011. In 2012, she was offered a position as adjunct trainer/presenter working with the Marcus Buckingham Company. She facilitates workshops and consults both nationally and internationally for a wide variety of professional organizations including those in business, media, high-risk occupations, hospitality, mental health and education. She has keynoted and developed training programs for Women in Leadership, Strategic Partnering, Mindfulness and Strategies for Successful Leadership for companies including Shell International, Intel, Pella Corporation, Nektar Therapeutics, University Polytechnic in Madrid and many others. For the last two years, Ms. McMahon has been partnered with Alexcel and Institute for Executive Development in a research project and paper on Best Practices for Executives in Transition. She has been frequently called on to speak and consult on this topic. Ms. Mintzer-McMahon was an instructor for over 20 years in the Graduate Psychology Department at John F. Kennedy University in Orinda, California, teaching Systems Theory and Group Dynamics. In 1999, she accepted a position as adjunct professor at St. Mary's College in Moraga, teaching Group Process in the Graduate Department of Education and Counseling. Based on her specialization in leadership development, coaching and consulting, she is a contributing author to Enlightened Power: How Women Are Transforming the Practice of leadership released in April 2005. She is also a contributing author to Marshall Goldsmith's recently released book on Coaching for Leadership showcasing her model for Transformational Change. Ms. Mintzer-McMahon is a psychotherapist and has accumulated twenty-five years of clinical experience, during part of this time she worked as a full time clinical consultant to a Police Department in Northern California. While working for the police she developed one of the first systemically oriented programs in Stress Management and soon became sought after as a consultant in Stress Management for both Business and Professionals in High Risk Occupations.

Christina Tangora Schlachter

Christina has more than a decade of experience as a facilitator, coach and trainer consulting on leadership development, strategic change, team development, and results driven process excellence. She has worked with multi-national corporations both globally and in the US to develop and deploy a variety of organizational tools including readiness assessments, communication plans, role mapping, and talent retention plans. Some of her recent clients include the US Department of Veteran Affairs, where she created curriculum and facilitated training; the State of Colorado, where she created an ethical leadership training; and Stanford University, where she developed a coaching program for professional and administrative staff. Kathy also spent 13 years at Sun Microsystems, Inc., working in global business facing HR leadership roles and as an organization development consultant.
