We are a small, State licensed, private school offering a variety of quality educational experiences to children ages 2-6 years, in a beautiful, safe, wholesome and nurturing environment. The Gingerbread House Preschool is located in an unsurpassed park like setting in one of south Redlands most prestigious areas, adjacent to Prospect Park. Some of our student's parents attended school here when they were children... The Gingerbread House Preschool was built in 1948 for two women - Margaret Cross and Rose Schweikert, who lived on this property near Prospect Park, (in a tent or a trailer, it is not sure which) while they waited for the facility to be completed... The Gingerbread House Preschool is located adjacent to historic Prospect Park, among the orange groves in South Redlands.
